New Fossil Frog from Madagascar

A new 70 million year old fossil frog found on Madagascar indicates how continents were once joined – the nearest relatives today are South American. And it is big – 40 cm (16″) in length, big enough that hatchling dinosaurs may have been part of its diet.

They call him Beelzebufo.
